Forrester Resources Corp. is a private precious metals exploration and development company with a clear vision of becoming a gold and silver producer. It is currently active in the Country of Peru and continually looking for near-term production opportunities within the Americas. The Company is focused on acquiring privately held high quality "undervalued" assets that it believes it can move quickly into production through additional successful drilling and/or through implementation of strong management, and is focusing on assets that have been looked over for reasons other than their technical merit.
Forrester Resources Corp.'s key asset is Reyna Las Princesas. Reyna Las Princesas is favorably located as it covers the piece of land wedged between the Pan American Silver Mine, Quirivilca, and one of Barrick's most successful mines, Laguneas Norte (formerly Alto Chicama). The property is littered with gold, silver and zinc mineralization at surface, and in 2004 "Ballad" (a former owner of the project) drilled 8 Reverse Circulation holes around one very strong silver/gold surface geochemistry anomaly. One of these holes returned more than 100 metres of 39 grams Ag, 0.2 grams Au and 1.6% Zinc. For certain corporate reasons and reasons unknown, such holes have never been followed up by either Ballad or Vena. Initial concepts are to drill, and repeat and improve on these values with a focus on developing a mineable concentrate that can be shipped to Volcan's La Oroya (similar to the Quirivilca Mine's operation), or intercept an underlying porphyry gold system that will be of interest to the Barrick Lagunas Norte Mine that is located within 5 kilometres to the North East.
